Wika Beton is a popular name, as well as a brand, for PT Wijaya Karya Beton. From its name, it can be guessed that Wika Beton is a subsidiary of a state-owned construction company: PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. Wika Beton specializes in the manufacture of precast or pre-stressed concrete (pre-cast & pre-stressed). Its concrete products include concrete power poles, concrete railway sleepers, concrete piles, apartment wall panels, and concrete culverts.
Wika Beton has many 'Concrete Products Factory' (PPB) scattered in various cities in Indonesia. One of them is located in the Wika Industrial Complex, on the edge of the Cileungsi River, near the Holcim cement factory, in Kelapa Nunggal District, Bogor Regency. By Wika Beton, the first PPB which was built in 1978-1908 was labeled with the name of PPB Bogor.
